Materials Needed:

Table napkin linen
Iron (optional)

Step 1: Fold it in Half

Begin by taking a square table napkin and folding it in half to create a rectangular shape.

Step 2: Fold it in Half Again

Next, fold the napkin in half again to form a smaller square.

Step 3: Fold the Top Layer Down Diagonally

Then, using the corner with the loose flaps, select the uppermost layer and fold it down diagonally.

Step 4: Fold 2 Ripples

Afterwards, fold another single layer of the loose fabric down. This time, however, leave about an inch of space for the fabric to stick out. Repeat this process with a another layer.

Step 5: Fold it Back into Thirds

Finally, fold the napkin back and into thirds. Ensure that the pocket of the triple folds are facing upward.

Step 6: (Optional) Iron it Down

If your fold is failing to stay in place, you may optionally iron it; this will also give the napkin a neater appearance.
